a)Activate knowledge - sticky note activity
b)Aquire knowledge - ASCD video clips; resources (read and summarize)
c)Apply understanding - Discussion of key elements for inclusion in Toolkit
d)Decide upon Action Research question, the action that will take place in the classroom and the data collection tool that will be used.
Your homework
Action Research: Choose an action and a form of data collection to experiment with a Supportive Learning Environment. Carry out the action and bring your reflections and insights to the next meeting.
Journal - Can you keep a bit of a journal about your learning, either on your wiki page or a print copy? It should be a collection of your reflections, student comments, joys and frustrations. It doesn't need to be extensive, but it will help with summarizing and interpreting your data.
